Your safety is our primary concern.
Following government guidelines we have enhanced our cleaning regime to include further measures to help protect our guests (and us) from coronavirus.
Hand sanitiser pumps are located both inside and out and we urge guests to use them freely. Spray bottles of kitchen sanitiser and bathroom cleaner are also provided.
All the commercial cleaning products that we use, including the sanitisers and disinfectants that kill coronavirus, are environmentally-friendly and vegan. Particular attention is paid to areas that are most likely to be touched - switches, handles and remotes, for example.
Bed linen (including mattress and pillow protectors), towels, throws etc. are professionally laundered following government guidelines. Duvets, pillows and cushions are alternated between bookings to ensure they are effectively quarantined.
Glassware, crockery, utensils etc. will be clean but not sanitised, so guests may wish to rewash these items in hot, soapy water before use.
We have reinstated the book and DVD libraries but, as we are unable to sanitise them individually, we ask guests to use the hand sanitiser (or wash their hands thoroughly) before and after handling.
The cottage keys will be disinfected and, whenever possible, left in the door ready for guest arrival.
We ask guests to follow the latest Government recommendations and advise us immediately if during their stay they display symptoms associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19).
For added peace of mind, if government restrictions mean the cottages must close you will be offered a full refund or 10% discount on alternative dates (15% for returning guests) and a partial refund if the total price is less. If the start date for the new booking is more than 90 days away we would hold £50 as a deposit and refund the balance paid. If at the time you're unable to commit to new dates but wish to benefit from the discount we can create a £50 deposit voucher and discount code.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance that provides cover if you are prevented from travelling due to local lockdown restrictions or you or members of the party mentioned on the booking form test positive for Coronavirus and remain contagious or are required to self-isolate, and for additional travel and accommodation costs if you unexpectedly have to quarantine or self-isolate due to catching Coronavirus or being in close contact with someone who has Coronavirus while on holiday.
